| What is the difference between Fitpc2
and Fitpc2i ? |
| Fit-pc2 has 4 rear usb ports while Fit-pc2i has 2
rear usb ports, 2 Gbit ports instead of 1, WOL function and Rs232 port.
Therefore Fit-pc2 is mostly used as media system while Fit-pc2i is used
as server. |

| Everybody knows Atom can't do HD! |
| That's true for most netbooks based on Atom N270 (Diamondville).
fit-PC2 is based on Atom Z530 (Menlow) that has built in video
acceleration. It can play Full HD 1080p at under 20% CPU load and under
7W total power consumption. |

| Does fit-PC2 boot automatically when
power is resumed? |
| Starting from May-2010 fit-PC2 and fit-PC2i support
'auto-on'. Older fit-PC2 (rev 1.21) does not boot automatically when
power is resumed. |

| Can memory be upgraded to 2GB? |
No, but fit-PC2 can be ordered with 2GB. RAM
in fit-PC2 is soldered on-board and cannot be upgraded. This
is a significant element in allowing miniature size and
reduction in power.

| Is boot from LAN supported? |
| Yes. BIOS can be configured for PXE boot. |
| |
| Boot from USB stick possible? |
| Yes. This is possible if you change configuration of
"Boot Devices" in Bios. You have to change fixed "'F" (default) to
"R"= removable to be able to boot from USB Stick. |

| Are there GMA500 optimized Linux
display drivers? |
| Yes. The drivers are currently available in binary
form only for Ubuntu 8.04 |

| Can I use fit-PC2 with a large-screen
TV? |
| Yes. fit-PC2 connects to a large-screen TV through
the TV HDMI connector. Audio is not transfered over the HDMI cable and
needs to be connected to the analog audio input. |

| I heard there is no Linux display
driver |
| Display drivers in Ubuntu are closed source, but
provide very decent 2D and excellent hardware accelerated video. Drivers
currently support Ubuntu 8.04 so fit-PC2 Linux ships with that version.
Newer Ubuntu currently work with VESA drivers only. |

| Does Youtube play fine on fit-PC2?

| Youtube plays smoothly on fit-PC2 in both Ubuntu 8.04
and Windows XP. |

| Can I connect fit-PC2 to a VGA display?

| No. There are DVI to VGA adapters, but they tend to
be expensive. It would be more cost effective to purchase a display with
DVI-D support. |
